Personal Information

Appearance:
Akemi has tormented her family too many times with her hair. She used to have the most beautiful coal black hair, so dark it glowed almost blue. That is still the main base but she had put blond and coppery red highlights going through it, the first person in her family to ever dye their hair. She cut—trims it herself and because of that now it’s almost grazing her waist. Most of the time she’ll braid it straight down her back but every now and then she leaves it long. Her eyes are a very soothing chocolate colour. Through years of care her skin now looks flawless and she’ll wear very dark and dramatic makeup without making it seem plastured on. Her clothes are strange, some days being all bright and bubbly to the next day being all black. However, no matter the day or temperature she will wear a knee length sliver hooded cape. Normally the hood is left down unless it’s raining or snowing. She 5’7”, unusual in her family of people hardly ever hitting 5’3”. Her dad gave her the height, he was 5’9”. She also weighs around 125 lbs, making her look very lanky to people who look at her.

Her sister is a tattooist/body piercer and because of that she’s done things for free on Akemi. She has a dragon tattoo going from one hip to the other on her back, the tail running partly down her leg. On her right ankle, the opposite leg from where the dragon tail is, she has two butterflies, a black and red one and a silver and blue one. Each ear has two earrings, her nose is pierced as is her belly button.

Personality: Akemi is a strange girl personality wise. If it wasn’t for the fact she’s been tested about three times one would think there are three different personalities. Unfortunately, this is not true and all three sides of her are plain and simply Akemi. One is the girl that she is at school. Very attentive and, despite her appearance, one of the better students. She never wanted to be a straight A student so she will at time purposely mess up her work to stay simply a B student. Her creativity level excels here, she paints and writes stories and poems. And surprisingly she is able to write not only dark poems but beautiful ones as well. That is however the extent of her creativity. Outside of school and away from her parents the other sides come forth. She is a slut. No one ever talks about her because even guys from her school or class that she does get frightened enough by her not to talk about it. She has even fooled around with a couple of girls, more or less because they were afraid to touch a boy. She’d never call herself a slut because in her mind what she does isn’t slut like or whorish. She just sees it as a person exuding her own personal choice and desires. Finally she is a Wicca. She’ll go off every night and do spells in woods around her house. In fact that has gone on for the past 5 years. And that is the way that she is able to keep her self from being gossiped about sexually. She’ll threaten curses if they say anything. All three aspects however seem to be a completely different person with each one.

Strengths:
Attention to Surrounding: Being Wiccan, Akemi has devoloped a heightened sense of what’s around her. She is able to sense movements easier, mostly in fear of getting caught and also because spell work requires that attention.

Loner: She has no one who there are ties to. There is no stupid crushes or close friendships that would make her want to put her life on the line for someone else.

Night Sight: Because of sneaking out of her house daily for five years in the dark she has developed a much better ability to see in the dark. Her eyes adjust very quickly, which, in a deep night, or if there was a building with a generator lights that was destroyed, she can move around without difficulty. Of course, with her family there was never much sneaking out so she isn’t the greatest sneak.

Weaknesses:
Empathy: She cannot bear seeing someone in pain. If she was to come across a dead body, or to kill someone, she would have to do her best to kill quickly or move past the body in speed. Otherwise the pain that she knows that they are having she will also feel to a lesser degree. Ex. Seeing someone shot through the neck, her neck would start feeling sore until she was away from the person. Ex2. If she was to set someone on fire she’d feel a smaller version as if she was burning.

Loner: While she has no ties no one would be able to see her as a person who wouldn’t mind killing. She has no reason not to because no one she kills would mean anything to her.

Religion: She has no problems letting it slid when no authority is around what her religion is. It has pissed off people before, and not just the ones that she has threatened to curse.

Overnight bag:
Akemi packed actually four outfits, two dark ones and two bright ones. The first dark outfit is a burgundy cord miniskirt and a black strapless top. The other is all black, pants and shirt. Her first bright outfit is a light purple spaghetti strap shirt with khaki pants. The other is a knee length baby blue skirt and gold top, buttons all the way down the side. She will be wearing her cloak over her school uniform like she does at school. Also in the bag are some health food (granola bars) that her mother packed and some candy and other sweets her sister put in for her. There are two black candles, a red candle and a white candle along with matches and a lighter for spells. And since she goes nowhere without her amthe, the silver handled and jeweled dagger is also in her bag. She also put in her CD player and some new age sounding music.

Student Background & History

Family:
Sona Atasuke (45): Akemi’s mother. She is a waitress at a local resturant and also does some seamsetry from home. A very quiet woman, she and Akemi will get into fights about what Akemi is doing to her hair or wearing. But she does love her youngest daughter very much.

Mei Atasuke (23): Akemi’s older sister. Mei dropped out of school when she was Akemi’s age and learned how to give tattoos and body piercings. Because she knows how much their mother hates it, and loves how much Akemi wants to piss off Sona at times, she’ll treat her little sister to that. She looks almost like Akemi but her hair is much shorter and all blond. Mei has about 15 tattoos and 10 piercings, most of which she did unless she needed help.

Shen Atasuke (45) Akemi’s father. He spoils both daughters and because of this they never get in trouble. He’s a co-owner of a power plant and they get a good amount of money in for the family. He’s a large man, both in size and actually in governmental influence. The influence comes from the job that he does. The power plant he works at is one of the leading plants in Japan. One other reason Akemi will keep her religion secret.

Tenjo Atasuke (5): Akemi’s little brother. Sona had a difficult pregnancy with him and he has had a difficult life. Born a month prematurely he has mild retardation. Also he was diagnosed with leukemia at three and his blood type is O-. Akemi is the only one in the family with that blood type and has been giving him transfusions once a month since then. He’s also been in chemo for most of his life. He is the main reason that she would want to win the game.

Rei Itumi (25): Not exactly a family member but Mei’s best friend and almost a second sister to Akemi. The three of them will go out on weekends and the two older girls will buy alcohol for Akemi. In a way Akemi when she’s with them, especially Rei who introduced her to Wicca, she acts older than she really is.

History:
Being born on Halloween works out perfectly for Akemi. It just seems to work perfectly with her personality. Even as a child she was a loner, never trusted anyone outside of her family. Mei and Akemi were very close growing up despite the age difference. When she was 11 and Tenjo was born, Akemi met Rei who taught her Wicca. To seem cool she gave herself the nickname Kei. When Tenjo got sick, she luckily had her piercing and tattoos, haven’t gotten a new one since then.

Teacher Observations

Class Behaviour:
Akemi seems forlorn at times and it’s horrible seeing her sit by herself. At least once a month she’ll be crying about the brother of hers. It’s depressing for her. She never opens herself to people and I know that her ability at school is a very high quality.

Friends/Relationships:
Open. Most people who ask will be turned down though, very picky girl. Really hard to describe her friend choices though right now.
